Latin American and North Carolina Seminar March 19-20, 2013 (1.5 days) Our annual Latin America and North Carolina Seminar provides general and concurrent sessions for understanding issues in Latin America as well as best practices in serving Latino/Hispanic populations in our schools and colleges. WorldQuest - Spring 2013

WorldQuest is an action packed international knowledge competition for high school students held each spring. The game is played by teams of 4 in 10 rounds of 10 questions each. It's a fun, fast-paced way to test knowledge about international affairs, geography, and cultures. Teams, not individuals, submit answers, so it's a great way to build teamwork and collaboration. Teams have 30 seconds to answer each question. At the end of each round, we take up the answer sheets. The prize goes to the team with the highest total points for the 10 rounds.
